Since 2013 One Love has been hosting the famous Battle of the Dubplates a Sound System Clash which runs throughout the Festival days with the final on Sunday – the winning sound receives the Championship Cup and this years Battle is looking to be what history is made of
Our search for a new Champion Sound after 2x winner Fatman International Sound System relinquished his cup has taking us onto a fantastic journey of British Sound System Culture – our line up is drawn from the Foundation Sound Systems that started in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Our search has taken us to the length and breath of the Country from all corners of the UK – and we are so very pleased to announce Sound System Legends for the very first time coming together in one arena a battle of epic proportions to win The Battle of The Dubplates 2016 –
