Skip made music history earlier this year as the first member of the Marley family to reach the Billboard Hot 100 Top 5, as the featured guest on Katy Perry’s #4 smash “Chained to the Rhythm,” which he co-wrote with her (and producers Max Martin and Ali Payami). Perry and Marley performed the song together live at the globally broadcast 59^th annual Grammy Awards, the 37^th annual BRIT Awards and then the 4^th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards. “Chained to the Rhythm” was nominated for four 2017 VMAs, for Best Pop Video, Best Direction, Best Visual Effects.
