Miners Foundry Annual 420 Celebration – LONG BEACH DUB ALLSTARS + SISTER CAROL and more…

The Vibes in Nevada City, CA are guaranteed to be high for this  4/20 Celebration!  Miners Foundry Annual 420 Celebration LONG BEACH DUB ALLSTARS + SISTER CAROL
Nevada City, CA – Saturday, April 20, 2024
Miners Foundry and Late-Nite Productions are proud to present a 420 Celebration with the Long Beach Dub Allstars and Sister Carol! Warming up the show will be Lizano plus Ras Matthew and Squarefield Massive.

They were the torch bearers of a genre that Sublime introduced and the original ‘Dub Allstars lineup included most of the players who were involved in cultivating that Reggae-Rock sound with Brad Nowell.
Seeing them reunite and perform new music after a 15-year absence is exciting. Together these musical professors and legends from Long Beach have engineered a new studio album that adds to the legacy of Long Beach Dub Allstars. 25 years later the band has found its resurgence with Opie Ortiz (vocals), Miguel Happoldt (guitar), Tim Wu (horns) joined by Roger Rivas (keys), Ed Kampwirth (bass)
and Gil Sharone (drums).

They’ll also be joined by the Black Cinderella herself — Sister Carol!

An electrifying Grammy-nominated and award winning reggae veteran from Jamaica. This 420, she’ll be throwin’ down her heartfelt and lyrical roots vibrations for Nevada City! An International Superstar, she has toured the globe from her birthplace in Jamaica. After receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from City College in New York in 1983 she set out on her musical career and has produced 19 albums over the past 40 years.
Miners Foundry Cultural Center is located at 325 Spring Street in Nevada City, CA.
