When did you start recording/ performing your music?
I started recording professionally since the mid nineties and and started performing at the age of 10 at events in my community but I started preforming professionally around 1997 at a show called “Fire Pon The Waft” with the like of Ninja Man, Jah Mason and Papa San.
Tell us a bit about your new album “Say Yes To Love”.
My goal for my new album Say Yes To Life was to make an album with a universal and lasting message that I think the world is in need of right now which is why I chose the collaborations with Jah Mason, Gentleman, Nesbeth and Jahranimo. The album is distributed by Tuff Gong International and produced by myself for my label Chrisinti Music.
Can you describe your musical style, and how it is unique?
I believe I do music that transcends and chances with the time that as no limits or boundaries, so I wouldn’t limit my music to just Roots or dancehall I do music for all people and I believe that’s what make my style unique.
What are some of the highlights in your career so far?
Some of my highlights in my career so far would have to be my traveling to Central Africa in the late 90’s to a place called Malawi where I did perform the reception from my people there was unforgettable,and topping some very influential charts thus far.
Do you have any other upcoming projects we should know about?
Yes most definitely I’m working on a tour and currently working on some new music.
