Dillgin

With the momentum building at retail and radio the popularity of Dillgin’s single Shining has vaulted it into the Jamaican Charts.

Entering the Top 25 Reggae Singles Charts last week at a respectable number 21 the song is continuing on a remarkable run since been released over six months ago. This is in tandem with massive airplay that Shining has been receiving. A combination of factors have contributed to the songs success. An ad campaign, new video and steady press has led to a spike in sales of the single on iTunes and other online stores. The artist is also slated for a promotional blitz with several appearances being scheduled on TV and radio.

Dillgin’s history augurs well for him as he topped the charts back in 2001 with the single Cuss Cuss and in 2006 had a break out year with the Pan African anthem I Know. Circa 2015 all the evidence is mounting that Shining could be the artist’s first number one.
