St. Croix, US Virgin Islands — Abja is back with some new VI Roots Reggae: Powerful, Praiseful, Rooted lyrics set to live- recorded Riddims. This album is filled with Up-tempo, One-Drop and new soundz from Producer Ras Elyment & live band recordings by former members of MIDNITE Band and Akae Beka’s Band.

Teach I De Truth is a collaboration with Ras Elyment Records (former Bass player of MIDNITE and Akae Beka Bands) and produced by Ras Elyment and Ras Abja via live sessions at Deep Hytez studio featuring St. Croix-native Cherise King on 4 tracks. Junyah P is also on two tracks. Recorded live with Edmund Fieulleteau, Peter DPM Willock, and Legrand Lee.
This Docu-album is interspersed with reasonings between two brethren: Ras Seigo aka Kendall Petersen, a highly respected, wise elder chief of the village, and RasAbja. Narrations of an ancestor. The conversations are about citizenship and what’s going on with people in the V.I. and their government. Roots Reggae Artist Abja has toured North America, Africa, South America & Hawaii and has graced the stages of Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, One Love One Heart Festival and more.
