“Everything is connected.

Food has a part to play in a

peaceful world as well as in

our world full of division and

war. Food is very connected in

our stage and condition of the

             world.” – Ziggy Marley

Earlier in 2017, Ziggy Marley was the recipient

of his eighth Grammy Award, the seventh he’s

received for Best Reggae Album; this time, for

his most recent album, self-titled Ziggy Marley.

His first three albums to win this award came
when he was with the band Ziggy Marley and

         the Melody Makers.

Like his parents and brothers, Ziggy uses his art

to make the world a better place. He’s doing so
         with his cookbook, as well.

“The state of the world and the state of America

have a lot to do with what we eat,” he said. “The

violence and division we see in the world has a

lot to do with what we eat, too. The antibiotics

they put in animals, all of these hormones, the
synthetically modified organisms that is in our

food, the effect of it in the long run, they don’t

         understand it.

division and war. Food is very connected in our
