Sierra Nevada World Music Festival just announced the dates for 2024: June 21 -23. Yes, it’s official, so mark your calendars.
In 2023, Sierra Nevada World Music Festival returned to the Mendocino County Fairground in Boonville, CA after a five-year hiatus. The response was overwhelming and the festival, known for the best roots reggae & world music music, was a success.
Event producer, Gretchen Franz-Smith states on the festival website, “Massive appreciation to all who made the trek to join us at Sierra Nevada World Music Festival 2023. We are grateful for each-and-every one of you! After the five-year hiatus, you brought energy of love, positivity and kindness. You brought your dancing shoes! We celebrated the life of our founder Warren Smith. We shared this moment in time that will live forever in our hearts and minds. The beautiful forests and rolling hills of Mendocino County welcomed us home.
The line-up for the 2023 event included world-class reggae stars like Burning Spear, Kabaka Pyramid, Beres Hammond, Luciano, Lila Ike, and many, many more. The line-up for 2024 is expected to be equally powerful.
The festival is dedicated to nurturing a world family peacefully united in celebration of the universal spirit of music. We invite you and your family to join us in 2024 for music and camping.
