‘Reggae Virus: Booster’ – Infectious Reggae Music
Following the success of ‘Reggae Virus First Dose’ compilation album, Tad’s International Record is back with the second installment in that series — ‘Reggae Virus: Booster’, a 20-song set that is just as infectious.
Reggae Virus: Booster’ contains songs by some of the biggest names in Dancehall/Reggae including Marcia Griffiths, Etana, Sanchez, George Nooks and Josey Wales, Freddie McGregor, Glen Washington, Richie Spice, Chezidek, Hezron, Anthony Cruz, Anthony B and Dean Fraser.
Several of these acts contributed to ‘Reggae Virus First Dose’; helping to make that album a summer hit in 2021. Sanchez, Washington and Anthony Cruz had singles on that maiden voyage which set the tone for the ‘Booster’.
‘Magical Love’ is Reggae Queen Marcia Griffiths’ song on the album while Etana does ‘Don’t Let me Go’ and Sanchez, as expected, is silky-smooth on ‘Nah Back Down’.
The contrasting styles of Nooks and Josey Wales makes ‘Leave Her Alone’ a winner; Chezidek smokes on ‘Marijuana Prior’ while McGregor delivers the goods on ‘That’s Alright’. Fraser lets his saxophone do the talking on ‘Booster’.
Tad’s International Record had listeners with indiscriminate tastes in mind when compiling ‘Reggae Virus: Booster’ and this record label has passed the test with flying colors.
Relax and enjoy!
