Texas-based record label City Rock Entertainment has announced that they have signed dancehall/reggae artist Delmark Spence, better known as Delus, and songstress Tabeta Cshae to a management deal.
The two artists will join reggae recording artiste Humility on the company’s roster.
Considered a novice in the business, Tabeta Cshae’s rEsumE is already growing as the songstress worked with many in the music business such as Barrington Levy on the track, Rosie. She also worked with Andrew Tosh, as well as Tommy Lee Sparta on the hit record, Spartan Angels.
Speaking on the young artiste, City Rock’s CEO, Marlon Baugh, said, “Tabeta’s vocals are very powerful. She also beautiful, funny and witty. Her rendition of Nicole Scherzinger’s song Run is what caught my ear, it displayed her talent and range.”
Delus has effectively developed his own musical identity through his soothing vocal renditions and lyrical expressions. Those qualities are what stood out for City Rock
“Delus’ raspy voice reminds me of an icon of reggae, a little raspy, shy but smart. Delus adaptability to both entertain and be socially conscious makes him a well-rounded artiste,” Baugh stated.
focus on music
Although City Rock Entertainment has made its mark in the business through various endeavours, music will be at the forefront for 2016.
With Delus, Tabeta Cshae and Humility, Baugh feels it has the right package to make a strong impact in music.
“All three artistes bring something different to reggae music. Humility has a vintage voice that reminds me of growing up listening to Gregory, his style is will appeal to grown people,” Baugh predicted.
The label is also planning to host a number of charity projects for the festive season.
