Dub Proof’s Season’s Greetings, is a collection of Christmas songs done in a reggae style along with some medleys, electronic jams & dub mixes to round out the 13 track album. Inspired by the classic reggae album Studio One presents A Reggae Christmas, Dub Proof has put their own spin on some classic reggae riddims inna holiday style to help break up the monotony of hearing the same old holiday musical faire.
Dub Proof is a 5 piece reggae band from Asbury Park NJ, who like to take a smooth approach to warm weather music with emphasis on fun melodies and playing classic dub techniques live. Less beer fueled frat rock & more on the laid back, craft beer & combustibles tip.

Inspired by the classic reggae album Studio One presents A Reggae Christmas, Dub Proof has put their own spin on some classic reggae riddims inna holiday style to help break up the monotony of hearing the same old holiday musical faire.
Out of all of the original tunes on Season’s Greetings, “Fly My Way” would be the biggest departure from what people would think was a Dub Proof song. That song was inspired by Joe Harvard and a few Velveeta gigs before Christmas in 2013. Nick Paolise and his wife Madi recorded a version of the song and played it for the band and we found a way to make it ours by adding few tracks, some percussion, vocals and additional guitar by our bud Mike Noordzy to round out the sound. Cousin Patrick Clarke produced the Couch Sound remix later in the album and we think it’s pretty rad!
Some would think that writing a great Christmas song is hard, but nothing is hard when lightning strikes & you are compelled by the power of Klaus! Seriously though, musically it has to hit that warm fuzzy feeling inside when you are wrapped up in a blanket enjoying a hot beverage, maybe with some peppermint in it.
Also appearing on “Season’s Greetings” is a cast of tremendous musicians who helped this album come to life, from Addis Pablo to Mike Nordzy, to Andy Meyer, to the late great Joe Harvard, even Santa Claus has a credit on the album. “Season’s Greetings” is a rich & full sounding album from beginning to end that anyone can enjoy.
Dub Proof has appeared on The (infamous) Artie Lange Show as seen on Direct TV to over 50 million homes Nationwide and heard on 7 of the top 10 terrestrial radio markets in the US. Dub Proof have opened for reggae royalty including Lee “Scratch” Perry, Mykal Rose, Sly & Robbie, King Yellowman, Pato Banton, The Mighty Diamonds, Culture, Dub Is A Weapon, Inner Visions and Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad among many others. Dub Proof also won an Asbury Park Music Award for “Top Groove Band” as well as graced stages in NJ, NYC, Philadelphia, Boston, Vermont & Maine.
