Los Angeles, CA – Reggae powerhouse Dukes of Roots is thrilled to announce their upcoming performance at the 30th anniversary of Rototom Sunsplash. It is one of the world’s largest and most iconic reggae festivals. The band will take the stage on August 17, 2025, in Benicàssim, Spain. We will be joining a legendary lineup of international artists in a celebration of roots, culture, and unity.

Dukes of Roots is a soulful reggae band made up of legendary musicians united by a shared passion for roots reggae. Led by the powerful vocals of Mermans Mosengo, the band features reggae pioneers George “Fully” Fullwood on bass, Courtney “Bam” Diedrick on drums, and T Rod on guitar. Together, they blend classic rhythms with modern energy, honoring the genre’s legacy while pushing its boundaries forward.

The band’s debut album features collaborations with reggae luminaries. These include Stephen Marley, Tarrus Riley, Kabaka Pyramid, and Andrew Tosh. The band has been praised for its rich blend of soulful rhythms and conscious lyrics.

“We’re honored to be part of Rototom Sunsplash’s milestone year,” said Rod Walkey, guitarist and executive producer. “This festival represents everything we love about reggae – unity, message, and music that moves people.”

Rototom Sunsplash, held annually in Benicàssim, attracts tens of thousands of reggae fans from around the globe. The 2025 edition marks three decades of promoting reggae culture. It will run from August 16–23, featuring concerts, workshops, and cultural programming.
