Reggae Continues Feeling Irie in 2015
While many are still of the opinion that Dancehall needs resuscitation, Reggae has been seeing its fair share of boost in popularity. General Degree took 2014 into a fresh style of his music and cleverly written lyrics, and now ushers in 2015 with his 7 tracks Reggae EP.
Born Cardiff Butt, the Degree decided to enlist the names of some of the best musicians and producers in the music business for the EP titled “Feeling Irie”. The talents of musicians such as Lenky (Keyboards); Sly and Robbie; Cleevie (from the group Steele and Cleevie); The In Crowd; Fire House; Khan (Guitar); Unga (Drums); Winta (Keyboards); Danny Bassie (Bass); Mark (Drums) and Earnie (Keyboards).
The list of producers includes Cleevie; Lenky; Phat Trax and Total Satisfaction; as well as European producers Tom Hype, Max Hustle and King Jabbi.
