One Love Festival are proud to announce their 8th Annual festival with a great line up for 2015 set in a new location at Popham Airport in Coxford Down Winchester Hampshire. The lush green fields provide more space for UK’s only Dub and Reggae Music camping festival over the weekend of Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September and brings together culture and roots music.
UK’s love for reggae is growing stronger so the organizers have found it necessary to expand to a larger location in Winchester Hampshire which includes more space for this ever growing audience. With a loyal and dedicated fan base, Early Bird Sale tickets are selling out fast.
The One Love Festival encourages peace, love and unity that was championed by the great Bob Marley. With these messages in mind, they aim to surpass our European Reggae counterparts and hold the largest Reggae festival right here in the UK!

Being arguably a male-dominated genre, sometimes limited attention can be paid to the role of women and their huge contribution to Reggae and its worldwide development. What is often overlooked when talking about the genre, or when promoters are booking acts, is that an integral contribution to the sound of the music can be attributed to the female voice. Here today One Love Festival celebrates Women in Reggae by making this announcement dedicated to our Sisters in honour of Co Founder of One Love Festival Victoria Wiltshire who sadly lost her fight with Cancer in October last year .
One Love Festival History
One Love Festival’s inception in 2008 marked the 1978 30th anniversary of Reggae legend Bob Marley’s concert of the same name. The famous concert was held in Kingston, Jamaica during a political civil war between opposing parties; Jamaican Labour Party and the People’s National Party. The concert came to its peak when Marley joined the hands of political rivals, Michael Manley (PNP) and Edward Seaga (JLP).
The One Love Festival’s popularity increases each year, and brings together some of the industry’s greatest veterans, alongside the rising stars of tomorrow. Being the only reggae camping festival in the UK makes it a special occasion with a friendly and chilled vibe. For those who love the Caribbean sound, this is your chance to experience the taste too with a huge range of catering outlets providing authentic food. Also expect an array of independent stall holders selling crafts, clothing, cultural items and most importantly records, so you can take some of the music home.
