RALLY UP MUSIC PRESENTS “THE TREE OF LIFE RIDDIM COMPILATION”   Oakland California based label Rally Up Music presents a new compilation named the Tree of Life Riddim. This Riddim blends a Nyabinghi energy with a solid Roots feel peppered with a majestic horn phrase. The Tree of Life symbolizes one common root for all humanity. The image implies a placenta tree, the tree from which we were all born. The Nyabinghi feel pays homage to the Roots of the Reggae tree which laid the foundation of the whole genre. It Features an International mix of artists.The Riddim was named after the song “Tree of Life” by KING KANASHI I out of the VI. It is a powerful message of honoring the family tree. KETEIS OYONDE from Jamaica brings a fresh, powerful voice on the song “You Keep me Strong”. Guyanese artist ARK AINGELLE sings praises to the King on “Hailing His Majesty”. ROB SYMEON based in NY, reminds us to “Weep Not” and hold the faith as the Lion of Judah has prevailed. Hailing from Tanzania vocalist GWAII, sings in Kiswahili “Lazima” a song that means we Must unite by any means. WINSTRONG, out of Suriname, uses the mighty power of word and sound to blaze the fire on injustice with his entry “Chant Down Babylon”. Last but not least Jamaican singer KAVA JAH with a heartfelt tribute to the Mothers of the World on “Mother’s Love”. The segment also features the grammy nominated Celebrity Hornz. Produced by Rally Up Music, Composed by Byron Green, and mixed and mastered by Sam Diggy and El Khemist. This is the 4th release from the label. “I-draw Riddim”(2016) that gave the breakout hit “Orange Peel” (Tuff Like Iron) and “The Spirits Anthem Riddim”(2017) that featured a popular tune ‘Habari’ by Jahdan Blakkamoore, and “Under the Sun Riddim”(2018) that found a wide audience with Songs like Goldy’s “No War”. With a focus on consistent quality, Rally Up Music aims to keep the Roots and Culture fire blazing.
