Enjoy rare footage of Peter Tosh’s early life.
 
Live music will be provided by Jahdan Blakkamoore, Sampalue, Rastareens with Sister Alreca, and Jahwarri, all backed by The Brickyard Band.
 
Local celebrity radio DJ Spliff Skankin will start spinning at 6pm.
 
The Out Of Many One Nyabinghi Drummers will also be performing ceremonial Rastafarian drumming and chanting.
 
Peter Tosh, the “Stepping Razor”, was a Rastafarian, and in keeping with his beliefs, the entire event will be performed by Rastafarian practitioners. The public is welcome to come and enjoy this pure “Rasta” ceremony.
 
This event is produced by Carl T. He is Peter Tosh’s cousin and grew up with him as well as toured with Tosh as his cook. He says, “We have celebrated Peter Tosh’s birthday one way or the other since his passing in 1987.
