REGGAE SUMFEST IN MONTEGO BAY, JAMAICA, JULY 13-19 IS A VIBRANT CELEBRATION OF REGGAE & DANCEHALL MUSIC AND JAMAICAN CULTURE AND FEATURES THE BIGGEST NAMES IN REGGAE.

Downsound Entertainment presents Reggae Sumfest on July 13-19, 2025, at Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre, and other select venues in Montego Bay. It will be a vibrant week- long celebration of reggae and dancehall music and Jamaican culture. Set to run from July 13 to 19, 2025, this year’s staging of Reggae Sumfest will feature seven events under one festival, culminating in two massive concert nights.  Confirmed acts include Toni Braxton, Vybz Kartel, Tarrus Riley, Masicka, Protoje, Tommy Lee Sparta, Lila Ike and others.

This annual week-long festival begins with five unique pre-events. The Family Fun Day is on Sunday July 13th at Catherine Hall Montego Bay Stadium, followed by Street Dance on Monday the 14th,also at the Stadium. The All White Party on the 15th at Pier One Restaurant & Bar right on the beautiful Bay, then Blitz on the 16th, and the Global Fete on the 17th, both back at the Stadium.  The main festival nights are on Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th,at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre, located right on the Bay. The week in its entirety encompasses a true Jamaican experience of food, dance, music, fashion, culture and lifestyle.

PRE-EVENTS 2025

July 13 is FAMILY FUNDAY

Family Funday returns July 13 to Catherine Hall Stadium—a day packed with fun, community spirit, and giving back. Through our amazing partners, families will receive free back-to-school medical and dental checks, plus backpacks, books, and school supplies to get the school year started right.  Free until Noon for adults and children. 

The location is at Catherine Hall Stadium Grounds, Montego Bay from 10AM-6PM (free between 10AM -12 Noon). The dress code: cool and comfy. Entertainment will be provided by Di Unit, DJ Collision, DJ Lollipop, Trippple X.

FREE STREET DANCE Monday, July 14, 2025

The Annual Reggae Sumfest Free Street Dance returns Monday, July 14th to the Catherine Hall Montego Bay Stadium, with ample parking spaces in close proximity to the venue.  This year’s them is:  ” Bring Di Vibes ” and will feature some of Jamaica’s hottest upcoming artists.  Patrons will be immersed in the authentic Jamaican experience through music, food, fashion, dance, and lifestyle. Throughout the night, there will be games, competitions, prizes, and surprises for attendees to enjoy at this is FREE, Food & Beverages Onsale. 7PM – 2AM. Montego Bay Catherine Hall Stadium. Dress code: Yaadie Style

The theme: “Bring di Vibes” (Adult Game Zone. Luo, Dominos, Drinking & Eating Competitions

The ALL WHITE PARTY on Tuesday July 15 is an annual affair held at the renowned Pier 1 Restaurant & Bar venue. Patrons can anticipate an immersive musical experience featuring a curated selection of 80s, 90s and early 2000s hits. In addition to the captivating ambiance and musical selections, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a diverse array of beverages and culinary delights specially crafted by the esteemed Pier 1 team.

The BLITZ PARTY on Wednesday July 16th, at the Stadium,will be a night to remember, with special performances by Stalk Ashley, along with Special Guest Star, Valiant…and there will be more to come…

Our GLOBAL FETE on Thursday July 17th also at the Stadium,welcomes patrons who are enthusiastically supporting Artists, Sound Systems, and Caribbean Music of Dancehall, Reggae, and Soca for a grand exciting Mash Up night.  There will be performances by Ghana star Moliy, along with Yung Bredda, and Marcy Chin….along with a Clash Spectacular between Tony Matterhorn and Notorious Sound.

MAIN FESTIVAL NIGHTS #1 – Friday, July 18 and # 2 – Saturday, July 19

The lineup for Main Festival Night 1 on Friday, July 18th features superstar Vybz Kartel, along with Masicka, Tommy Lee Sparta, Skeng, D’Yani, Govana, Jamal, Laden, Shaneil Muir, Jah Fabio, Harry Toddler, and Young Wild Apache.  Fans can expect high-octane energy, hit after hit, and pure, unfiltered entertainment from the biggest names in Dancehall. This is more than a show…it’s a full-blown dancehall takeover!

The lineup for Main Festival Night 2, on Saturday, July 19, features Toni Braxton, Tarrus Riley, Protoje, Lila Ike, Pressure Busspipe, I Wayne, Bugle, Fanton Mojah, plus more artists tba. Get ready for a powerful showcase featuring the biggest names in Jamaican music — Expect authentic Jamaican culture, electric performances, and the kind of energy that stays with you long after the lights go down.
