After long careers touring & recording with reggae legends, the international members of Sirus B Posse have synergized together to create Dynamic, High Energy, Groove-Oriented Roots Reggae. Their music can be described as “West Coast Steppers Dub”.
Sirus B Posse consists of Sirus B, (Singer & guitar) who lived in Maui & played/toured with his own band & artists such as Marty Dread & Lambsbread, he’s also played on albums such as Lutan Fyah’s “Truly”, as well as touring with artists Biblical & Abja.
Juno Ronde (Bass ) hails from Suriname & has toured with Reggae greats such as The Itals, Sister Carol, Glen Washington, Yami Bolo, Army, Willie Nelson, & Pete Seeger.
Kenny Porter (Drums) played in his native Jamaica as well as worldwide for groups such as Horace Andy, The Mighty Diamonds, Charlie Chaplin, and The Itals.
The magic that is born when they jam results in Soulful, Magnetic, Original Reggae Music. Northern California vibes can be heard in tracks such as “Plant More Corn”. The group’s positive vibes come through heartically on tracks such as “Zion Gates”. They are currently booking for their “Dub Creation” Record Release Tour, with the first show at Cooper’s In Nevada City on 3/11/17. Check out their fresh, new, danceable take on classic roots.
