The Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire
is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Reggae Festival,
“Chanting Down Babylon:
Redemption Songs of the Diaspora,”

Saturday, June 17, 2023
Noon to 10:00 PM
at the picturesque Strawbery Banke Museum 
Portsmouth, New Hampshire


This exciting event will be a vibrant celebration of the rich cultural heritage and captivating music of the African diaspora. Attendees can look forward to an unforgettable day of live music, food and craft vendors, drumming, dance, kids activities, and much more.

The festival will showcase a diverse lineup of talented artists who will mesmerize the audience with their performances. During the daytime, the crowd will groove to the beats of
DJ Mam, Dis N Dat, Jah Spirit, Adrienne Mack Davis,
and Froca Fitness.

As the sun sets, the stage will be taken over by renowned reggae icons including Onyx Brown, Lady G,
Brigadier Jerry, Nadine Sutherland, Marcia Griffiths,
and Glenn Washington.
