Higher Bound Productions Announces New‘Akae Beka’ (Vaughn Benjamin) Album WORLD TAP IN To Be Released on May 5, 2026
In a powerful continuation of legacy and message-driven offerings, Higher Bound Productions is honored to release a highly anticipated new ‘Akae Beka’ album entitled. It is entitled, “WORLD TAP IN” and is available worldwide on all major streaming platforms and vinyl on May 5, 2026.
A full-band recording session, (including members of the Akae Beka Band) ‘WORLD TAP IN’ carries forward the spirit and depth that defined their previous acclaimed release. “Hail the King,” was #6 on the Billboard Reggae Charts, #1 on Reggaeville, topped iTunes Reggae Charts, and earned GRAMMY consideration.
This is the 6th Akae Beka/MIDNITE album released by Higher Bound Productions.This body of work builds on that foundation with an even deeper focus on today’s geosocial and geopolitical climates. It delivers messages rooted in social awareness, political insight, and spiritual consciousness.
The riddims were recorded at Higher Bound Productions Studio in Grass Valley, California in early November 2015. In January 2016, Vaughn forwarded out to Higher Bound Studio again to record his vocals.
The album captures the essence of the original Vaughn Benjamin sound — authentic, unfiltered, and driven by live instrumentation.
