Negril, Jamaica, 16:  Members from the Travel, Tour, and Music industries have collaborated to create a genuine Jamaican Rootz experience for fans the world over.  The Inaugural  Getaway vacation package will be launched December 8-15, 2016 with the Jamaica South Coast Ganja Getaway which is an all-inclusive guided escape for adventurous visitors to immerse themselves in Jamaica’s ganja legacy including its origins, culture and the influence of Rastafari and the sacred sacrament of Ganja as a legal indigenous right.  Travel packages feature 3 day VIP Access to the 2nd Annual Rastafari Rootzfest Ganjamaica Cup in Negril on the famous 7 mile beach with rooms at the idyllic Idle Awhile Villas as well as a stay in the fishing village of Treasure Beach at Trip Advisor resort Jake’s .  During this weeklong retreat, guests will have the opportunity to explore an operational Ganja farm, visit the historic Maroon Village of Accompong and other South Coast attractions as well as participate in “reasoning” sessions hosted by members of the Rastafari community.  A variety of cultivated tours, meals and amenities including a complimentary ganja pack, will ensure that all who participate will get to know Jamaica “fi real”.

To ensure that each person receives an authentic experience, the Jamaica South Coast Ganja Getaway is limited to 50 travelers.

Inspired by their joint desire to showcase the many festivals, communities, and arts Jamaica has to offer, this collective will be hosting additional themed getaways through the year in various destinations in Jamaica including the Jamaica Music Getaway in January and the 9 Miles to Trenchtown Getaway planned for Bob Marley Week in February.
